WE ARE THE THUNDER!
The Guelph Girls Hockey Association has been providing
recreational and competitive hockey programs to girls
in the City of Guelph and surrounding communities for
12 years. Starting out with just 75 participants, this
year our association offers 20 house league teams in five
age divisions and 8 Representative teams to over 450 girls
between the ages of 6 and 18. Our house league programs
have provided a safe and positive environment where hundreds
of girls have enjoyed playing recreational hockey and
developing friendships in our community. And our representative
program has provided girls with demonstrated hockey skill
and desire the opportunity to enjoy the game at a higher
level of competition while representing the City of Guelph.
Our organization has produced several Provincial Championship
teams and has become a well respected centre in Ontario
for the development of female hockey players.
