Novice Coach - TBA
Ken Rowbotham - Atom A [ Email Coach ]
Ken grew up playing AAA minor hockey in Oshawa and has competitive hockey experience including three years in the OHL playing for the Belleville Bulls and five years playing varsity hockey at the University of Western Ontario. Ken's coaching experience includes one year Assistant Coach for GGHA Novice B (07-08) and two years Head Coach for GGHA Atom A (08-10). The Atom A 2009-10 team won Silver in the LLFHL. The development focus for Ken's players is on team strategies, play-making, and individual skills development.
Jeff Neumann - Peewee A [ Email Coach ]
Jeff has coached in the GGHA since his daughters began playing, in 2004, most recently as an assistant coach with the Peewee B team in 2009-2010. Born and raised in Guelph, Jeff played rep hockey in the city, Junior B hockey with the Waterloo Siskins and Owen Sound Greys, and later 7 years of Senior hockey with the Elora Rocks. Jeff looks forward to providing a teaching environment for Peewee AA/A players in which the values of hard work, respect and team work are emphasized. “Playing hockey is a tremendous opportunity to learn life skills that will benefit the girls for the rest of there lives, and I’m honoured to be a part of it.”
Peewee BB Coach - Mike Parsons
Mike moved to Guelph to play for the Guelph Platers (Junior A) and then moved with them to Owen Sound. He was drafted by the Boston Bruins and played in their organization as well as the Washington Capitals organization during his professional career. Mike continued with hockey by being an assistant coach for the Guelph Storm and Guelph Gryphons organizations and has continued to coach for both of these teams in various capacities for the last 14 years. For the last 3 years he has been either an assistant coach or goalie coach for teams in the GGHA. He is looking forward to his first year as a head coach of a team, and his coaching philosophy for this team will be focusing on work ethic, positional play and individual skill development.
Peewee B - TBA
Paul Morris - Bantam AA [ Email Coach ]
Paul has been a coach within the GGHA for the past four
years, and last year was the head coach of the OWHA Provincial Champion and LLFHL Silver Medalist Bantam BB team. He has been involved coaching girls and boys
hockey (and baseball) for many years. Paul played his
minor hockey in Montreal and London, and began coaching
within the Toronto Red Wing organization (Bantam through
Midget) in 1981.
Greg Ross - Bantam A [ Email Coach ]
Greg comes to GGHA with the equivalent of 20 years of
boys' house league and rep coaching experience, most recently
at the Midget AA level. He has also coached high school
hockey, and refereed hockey in Guelph for the past eight
years. Most recently Greg was the coach of our 2009-10 Bantam B Team. Greg is very much looking forward to coaching girls hockey again!

Greg Gibbons - Midget AA [ Email Coach ]
Greg is a father of four hockey players & a lifetime
resident of Guelph. Over the past 12 years, Greg has built
an extensive coaching resume(both GGHA & GMHA) across
age categories ranging from Novice to Midget. His coaching
accomplishments include a Provincial Championship as well
as a number of Leaque Championships & Tournament wins.
Most recently, Greg was Head Coach for Guelph Thunder
2008 - 2009 PWB and has been named GGHA Rep Coach of the
year 2008-2009.
Bob Hawkins- Midget A [ Email Coach ]
Bob grew up playing his minor Rep Hockey in Guelph and then Senior Hockey in Western Canada. He has three active children and has been passionately involved in coaching baseball and hockey for boys and girls leagues in Guelph for over 20 years. His accomplishments in coaching hockey include two OWHA Provincial Banners, League Championship and numerous tournament wins. He was named Coach of the Year for the GGHA in 2007-08 and recently has been the Head Coach for a local High School hockey team. Bob looks forward to guiding this years team to great success and personal growth.
Brent Keenan - Midget BB [ Email Coach ]
Brent has been coaching minor hockey, at many levels,
mainly in the head coach or assistant coach role for 22
years, the past three with GGHA as a head coach in the
house league divisions and is now excited to be working
with Midget BB girls for the 2009/2010 season. He has
attained national certified coaching certificates at the
Advanced Level 1 and the Intermediate Level. His goals
for 2009/2010 midget BB girls are to continue their development
and understanding of the game, continued improvement of
individual hockey skill in a fun environment. He will
encourage hard work, team play, fair play, and a win as
a team atmosphere.
