Midget A Jr Gryphons Help Canada Win Gold at Nation's Cup Tournament!!
The Guelph Jr Gryphons Midget A team not only represented Canada with an impressive record of 4-0-1 against American opponents, but also bubbled over with amazing patriotic pride as they helped Canada win GOLD at the Nations Cup Tournament in Detroit, MI.
After each goal, you could see an incredible amount of pride in their eyes and their smiles each time they scored and came down the bench to celebrate together. And before one of our games, our amazing group of young ladies broke out into the impromptu signing of Oh Canada as they were getting set to take the ice in their Canadian jerseys.
They played with pride, with determination and represented with class both on and off the ice.
The memories of the success, national pride and team unity will stay with our players for a long time and this experience will help raise them to the next level!
