Peewee Black wins GOLD in Brampton!
The Smith Valeriote Peewee House League team (Black) won gold at the 2014 47th Annual Brampton Canadettes Tournament over the Easter weekend with 4 wins and one tie in their 8-team division.
Guelph opened with a 2-2 tie vs Smith Falls, and then finished round robin play with wins Orangeville (2-1) and Caledon (4-1). In the semi-final the Peewee Black team defeated another Caledon team 4-2 before winning the championship in a 2-1 rematch against Smith Falls.
