Guelph Hyundai Midget A Jr Gryphons LLFHL Western Division Champs
Congratulations to the Guelph Jr Gryphon MA team for winning the LLFHL Western Division. The girls had to beat Kitchener, Bluewater and Walkerton, each series going the full 3 games on their way to the title. In the final series against rival Walkerton (first place finishers in regular season) the Gryphs only gave up 1 goal and won 2 games on the road. Battling through the playoffs was even more impressive by this group, considering the heavy 8 game Provincial Play-down schedule they had to complete in just over 3 weeks. Outstanding effort ladies, it is a very special team that can say they will compete at both LLFHL Finals and Provincials. Coach Scott
