BANTAM DS SHOWS STRONG AT EASTER TOURNAMENT
The Bantam DS team recently competed in the Brampton Canadettes Tournament Easter weekend. These gryphons went undefeated and won their division! They competed well to win the quarter final game against Aurora. The girls made it to the semi final game losing to the Whitby Wildcats who have not lost a game this season.
This is the largest Girls Tournament in North America. There were 18 teams competing in the Bantam Division with teams from all over the province. The girls should be especially proud of their victory over Clarrington (Guelph Bantam Tournament DS Champions).
Throughout the tournament, the girls played solid defence and goal tending. On offense, girls passed well, and found great opportunities to score. The girls should be proud of their efforts, a lot of hard work paid off at the end of the season!
