    The Atom A girls faced loop rivals Lucan Irish in the Semi-Final match of the Hocktoberfest tournament.  Both teams played a very physical and fast paced game. Despite the score, the Gryphons actually outplayed the Irish in the second and most of the third period. The lone goal came from Dylan M getting her first of the season from Lauren B.  

    The Lucan Irish went on to beat the Oakville Hornets 3-0 to win this tournament.  

    The Atom A girls hit the ice again next Saturday in a double header.  They play Lucan at the Lucan Memorial Arena @ 11:00 and then face the London Devilettes at Argyle Arena @ 2:00.
