REGISTRATION for the 2024-2025 Local League
The Guelph Girls Hockey Association offers a Local League system for players of all skill levels wishing to play hockey. Local League teams provide a fun and fair environment for players to experience and enjoy the game while developing their skills.
Local League Details:
- Activities: Practices, games against other local hockey centers, a tournament during the Christmas break, and playoffs at the end of the season.
- Opportunities for Adults: This league offers a great opportunity for adults interested in coaching, training, or managing a team. OWHA provides courses throughout the year to support coaching and training roles, with some available entirely online. Remember, your time as a volunteer makes these local league teams possible.

Payment:
The first installment of registration fees must be received before the first on-ice session.

Goalies! (Local League Only)
- If you play as a goalie for 80% of the time, you can get a 50% discount. Please contact the registrar at [email protected].
- U9 will not have dedicated goalies; all players will rotate playing as a goalie.
- U11 will aim to have 2 goalies per team. Any child who wants to try playing as a goalie will have a chance in net and will participate as a player when it's not their turn as a goalie.
- U13 and older aim to have one dedicated goalie per team. If additional goalies register, some may need to share the position.

NSF Cheques:
Cheques returned due to insufficient funds will incur a $50.00 administration fee per NSF cheque. The replacement payment must be made by certified cheque, money order, or cash within 7 days for the player to be allowed back on the ice.
Method of Payments:
We have 3 methods for payment options:
1. Credit Card - For credit card purchases, there is a 2.3% credit card fee applied.
2. Cheques - Please mail to the address below.
3. E-Transfer - Please send payments to [email protected]. include the player's name and team.
