Intermediate A Victorious in St. Kitts
The Intermediate A Gryphons traveled to picturesque St. Catharines for the 16th annual Badgers hockey tournament and came away with the gold medal after an inspired 2-0 win over rival Whitby in the final.
The Gryphs started strong with wins over Brampton (2-0) and Saugeen-Maitland (3-0) before suffering a set back against Whitby (1-3) to end the round robin. The Gryphs used what the learned on Days 1 and 2 to take control on Day 3 with a convincing win over Durham (3-0) in the semi, followed by a redeeming, total-team-effort win over Whitby (2-0) in the final. Congratulations Gryphs!!!
