The Junior Gryphons Atom B girls brought home silver from the Flamborough
Winter Chill Tournament. The girls opened the tournament with one of
their hardest fought games of the year with a 1-0 loss against West
Huron Wave, who have dominated the Gryphon girls during the regular season.
The girls pulled it together for the rest of the round robin, winning
their next 2 games 1-0 with great forechecking and backchecking.
The girls impressed their coaches and parents with their improved level of play bringing the girls to the semi final game with another impressive win against Buffalo. The girls ran out of steam for the final against West Huron and lost a tough game.
Coaches and parents were very proud of the girls with their determination and drive to finish off the tournament with a silver medal and lots of smiles from the girls! Check out the Atom B team Gallery for more photos from the tournament.
