This weekend the girls traveled to Aurora, ON for the Silver Stick tournament. With a 3-1 record the Jr. Gryphon's advanced to the finals on Sunday afternoon. After a hard fought battle the Gryphon's fell 2-1 to Clearview. Mitchell and Pergolas each earned a shutout and had an excellent showing all weekend. The Jr. Gryphon's were pleased to end their final tournament with a medal and are now ready to take on the Etobicoke Dolphins in the second round of Lower Lakes playoffs. Happy New Year from the Guelph Jr. Gryphons Bantam A Team!

Congratulations to the Guelph Jr Gryphon's Bantam A team for an excellent weekend of hockey in the Barrie Sharkfest tournament. The girls battled through an intense semi final where they defeated North Simco in shootouts.  The Gryphon's fell to Ancaster in the final game in another shoot out.  Great job girls for a wonderful tournament and keep up the good work!
