2013 GGHA 14th Annual Thunderstorm Tournament, 2012-2013 (Guelph Girls Hockey Association)

Finally, we want to thank the players, coaches and spectators for coming to Guelph, and we hope to see you next January for the 15th Annual Thunderstorm Tournament!

Thanks to all who supported the daily 50/50 draws. Sunday's winner of $181 was Dave T. The Saturday and Friday 50/50 and gift baskets winners have all been contacted (so if you didn't hear from us that means you didn't win - better luck next time!).  The DS skills competitions were won by Allison (Atom DS), Mya (Novice DS) and Rylie (Novice DS). And speaking of Novice DS, for those of you watching the Novice DS final on Sunday (at WERC), we're glad to report that the delay during the middle of the game wasn't due to something serious like an injury or coach ejection, but rather an urgent ...

Congratulations to all our division winners and finalists. It's been a weekend of great hockey, and the GGHA would like to thank the players, coaches, fans and volunteers for some excellent hockey and wonderful memories. Saturday was another great day of hockey, with scores posted for 78 games from Novice DS (perhaps playing in their first tournament!) to some very competitive Bantam and Midget games in the evening. Our first banner of the 14th Tournament was awarded to the Flamborough Falcons Atom DS team (yes, it was originally posted incorrectly - our apologies!), with Leaside Wildcats picking up the silver.
