On March 21st, the University of Guelph and Department of Athletics unveiled a brand evolution for Gryphon Athletics and affiliated Jr. Gryphon organizations, including a new Gryphons logo. This brand evolution will directly impact the GGHA, as we will begin to transition to align with the new branding in the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
The current logo will no longer be produced for items such as tracksuits, team apparel, equipment, and bags. Families that have purchased existing branded equipment (pants, gloves, bags), will be allowed to continue to use these items until such time they feel the need to be replaced. Existing inventory of pre-built Gryphons products will continue to be available for purchase, while quantities last as we transition.
In addition to the UofG branding, our jersey supplier, Adidas, is getting out of the hockey market. This provided the opportunity for a new supplier for our member purchased jersey's (U13 - U18 rep teams).
Also new for the 2025-2026 year, our team wear provider, All Teams, will host a GGHA member specific site where team jerseys and socks will be purchased directly by members for the U13-U18 rep teams. This site will also allow the opportunity to purchase other updated branded team wear and equipment. Stay tuned for more on this in the coming month!
For our U9 - U11, U22 and Senior rep teams, we will continue to use the GGHA owned jersey's which carry the current UofG logo.
