It is with great pleasure that we announce Katie Mora and Meagan Lee being named as Guelph Girls Hockey first ever Technical Directors!

We are so proud to be able to partner with the University of Guelph Women’s Hockey Associate Coach's! They will provide the GGHA with technical expertise to support the ongoing development of GGHA players, coaches and staff through enhanced player development programming, coach mentorship, and strategic planning in the role of Hockey technical Director.

The Hockey Technical Director will be responsible for:

  1. Program Development:

    1. Design and implement structured coaching curriculum for various age groups and skill levels.

    2. Develop training methodologies, ensuring consistency and alignment with the organization’s goals.

    3. Oversee the progression of player development pathways from grassroots to elite levels.

  2. Coaching and Staff Management:

    1. Mentor coaches to ensure consistent coaching quality and adherence to best practices.

    2. Organize regular coaching clinics and workshops to foster continuous improvement among on-ice staff.

As we move forward, Katie and Meagan aim to set long-term goals for our hockey programming, and develop strategies to achieve them.
