The Grove Youth Wellness Hubs

The Grove provides safe, welcoming spaces where youth can access a variety of mental health and wellness services. There are multiple locations across the region:

  • Guelph: 737 Woolwich Street (Main Location)

  • Guelph: 50 College Ave W (University of Guelph)

  • Guelph: 130 Woodland Glen Dr (YMCA of Three Rivers)

  • Fergus: 900 Tower St South, Unit 103

  • Palmerston: 390 Main Street East

  • Erin: Main Place Youth Center, 10 Thompson Crescent

Each location offers services such as walk-in counseling, substance use counseling, peer-to-peer support, navigation services, career counseling, and youth programming. Operating hours vary by location, so it's advisable to check the specific hub's schedule. 


CMHA Waterloo Wellington Services

The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Waterloo Wellington offers several programs for youth:

  • Youth Outreach: For individuals aged 16 to 24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and need mental health support. Services include counseling, basic needs assessment, and assistance in connecting with community resources. I’m

  • Brief Service: Provides up to 10 sessions of counseling for children and youth aged 0 to 17 dealing with mental health challenges. 

  • Youth Mental Health and Justice Counselling: Supports youth aged 12 to 17 who are involved with the criminal justice system and have mental health needs.

Homewood Community Addiction Services (CADS)

CADS provides outpatient addiction counselling for individuals and families who are concerned with substance abuse/misuse/addiction issues. Whether you are worried about an alcohol, substance use, overuse of technology, gaming, online shopping and/ or gambling issue, we can help. Our free and confidential program is tailored to meet your individual treatment needs. We provide services in person, virtually or by phone. Offices are located in Guelph and Rural Wellington, including Clifford, Drayton, Erin, Fergus, Palmerston, Mount Forrest, Rockwood. Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis

 

This organization offers a 24-hour crisis line providing confidential support to individuals who have experienced abuse or are in crisis. They also offer referrals to additional services. The crisis line can be reached at 519-836-5710 or 1-800-265-7233. 

 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph (BBBSG)

One Stop Talk: A virtual walk-in mental health clinic that offers free counseling and therapy to anyone in Ontario over the age of 12. The service is available in multiple languages and offers same-day appointments.
