REGISTRATION for the 2024-2025 - Fundamentals
Fundamentals:
Hockey Canada developed the Initiation Program to make children's first contact with hockey a safe and positive experience. It's a structured, learn-to-play hockey program designed to introduce beginners to the game's basic skills.
Jr Fundaments program is for girls from 4-16 years old (as of Dec. 31st) that want to learn basic hockey skills.
This program runs one hour per week for approximately 20 sessions, held on Saturdays at 12:00. Players receive a jersey and socks, plus a team and individual photo.

Please note that this is not a learn-to-skate program, and participants should have basic skating ability. If you are looking for a learn-to-skate program we suggest contacting the Guelph Skating Club, The Zone Training Centre or the University of Guelph to learn about their programs. These programs tend to fill up quickly, so we encourage you to register early.
New Members who were NOT registered with the GGHA in the 2023-2024 season are required to submit one copy of proof of age document (i.e. birth certificate, passport).

Fees:
Registration fees must be received prior to the first on-ice session.
We have 3 options for the Fundamental program:
Option 1: Sign up for both the Fall program (October to December) and the Winter program (January to March) and receive a discount off the Winter program.
Option 2: Sign up for the Fall program only (October to December).
Option 3: Sign up for the Winter program only (January to March).

Method of Payments:
We have 3 methods for payment options:
1. Credit Card - For credit card purchases, there is a 2.3% credit card fee applied.
2. Cheques - Please mail to the address below.
3. E-Transfer - Please send payments to [email protected]. include the player's name and team.

NSF Cheques:
Cheques returned due to insufficient funds will be assessed a $50.00 administration fee per NSF cheque. The replacement payment must be made by certified cheque, e-transfer or credit card within 7 days in order for the player to be allowed back on the ice.
Register Now:
If you are new to hockey, you will require a Hockey Canada profile # (HCR#) in order to register. Please fill out the HCR Profile form and email it to Donna @ [email protected]. Once the profile is created you will be emailed an HCR#.
