Schedule & Results, Atom A, 2014-2015 (Guelph Girls Hockey Association)

The Atom A girls continue to keep up the pressure to play for first at the Orangeville Sweetheart Tournament.  Both teams were very evenly matched and there was a lot of great end-to-end hockey to watch.  
The Kingston Ice Wolves were on the board first with a top shelf goal one minute into the second.  The Jr. Gryphons got on the board in the third with a lovely goal by Alli P (from Lauren B and Aileigh W) to even up the score.
Both teams kept on the pressure and goal tending was great from Sam P and there were lots of chances for us.  

The game ended in a tie for a point a piece.  Player of the game was Rachael D who was great on defence and getting the puck out of our zone.  

The lady Gryphons take on the Scarborough Sharks at 4PM at Alder Arena later today.  A team dinner is taking place at Shakespeare Arms in Guelph at 6:00 pm.
