Overview

Welcome to the official tournament website for the Guelph Winter Classic, hosted by Guelph Girls Hockey Association.

Our event runs Dec 4-7, 2025, with the following divisions: U11 A, U11 B, U13 AA, U13 A, U13 BB, U15 A, U15 BB, U15 B, U18 A, U18 BB, U18 B, SR B

Registration is now closed for all divisions.

The tournament organizers may add more information about the tournament in the future, so stay tuned for that and thanks for your visit!

Sometimes the score on the website doesn't match the score in RAMP. Why? Because there is a max 4-goal differential, and the website automatically makes this adjustment. This means that the standings are accurate in real time.

Here are the locations of the tournament desk/ office at each arena: University of Guelph - Room 5, located between the Red and Gold rinks. West End Rec Centre- Lions Lair, located near the entrance to Rink 1 Centennial - in the lobby - you can't miss us! Exhibition - West lobby, closest to the baseball diamond. Victoria Rd Rec Centre - Dressing Room #1 Sleeman - dressing room hallway

Here are the Updated 2025 Winter Classic Rules, including division formats and tie-break rules. The rules were updated to reflect the new OWHA jersey policy - the Home team wears their dark/ coloured jersey and the Away team wears their white/ light coloured jerseys. U15A game length was corrected to 12-15-15.

Looking for a great meal while at the University of Guelph? Check out the Craft Kitchen and Ale House on the 2nd floor of Gryphon Centre (overlooking the Red rink). Teams can book a team meal at least 48 hours in advance, and take advantage of the special team meal menu! Get more information and the reservation link here.

Hello, If you are playing at the University of Guelph (Gold or Red rink) then you must park in the designated parking lot (P13) and register your car to avoid getting a parking ticket. Information is below, plus a map showing Lot P13.
